Pilates

Pilates Apprentice Instructor
Angie Eckhart
Angie has explored nearly every form of fitness, from marathon training and CrossFit to yoga, weightlifting, and Zumba. Pilates, however, is where she feels most at ease.
After returning home to Indiana in 2024 following her husband’s 20-year Navy career, she found the sense of belonging she had been looking for in the studio, both on the mat and on the Reformer. She began working toward her certification in spring 2026 and is currently completing her apprenticeship.
Angie’s goal is to create a welcoming, encouraging space where every client feels supported, whether they are brand new to Pilates or years into their practice.

Lisa Michaelis
Lisa has spent more than 25 years bringing her love of sports and fitness to the people she works with. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition, and began her career in personal training and group fitness.
She found her true home in the small-studio setting, where she could build deeper, more personal connections with clients. Lisa earned her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through the Physical Mind Institute in 2009 and has continued growing as a teacher ever since.
What brings her the most joy is helping clients move through life with less pain, more ease, and a greater sense of strength.

Ana creates a space where every breath feels a little softer and every student leaves a little lighter.

Yoga Instructor & Reiki Master

Jay’s encouraging teaching style helps students build confidence, cultivate self-awareness, and discover what they are capable of both on and off the mat.

E-RYT 200 & YACEP Yoga Instructor
Nancy Emery
Nancy has been teaching for more than 30 years, with a background rooted in dance. She majored in dance at Marymount Manhattan College and first trained to teach yoga in 1990 under her ballet instructor.
Since then, she has continued building on that foundation through her RYT 200, E-RYT 200, YACEP, international immersions, and Kundalini yoga training.
Nancy works with students of all ages and fitness levels and takes particular pride in supporting people with physical limitations. Her classes blend movement, guided meditation, music, lighting, and thoughtful sensory details to create a deeply connected experience.
Yoga Instructor
Rachel Higareda
Rachel has been practicing, studying, and teaching yoga for nearly a decade, with more than 550 hours of training in Hatha yoga, myofascial release, and functional approaches to movement. Since beginning her teaching journey in 2016, she has taught in a variety of studio settings and has also opened and operated her own community yoga studio.
Her teaching is thoughtful and intentional, encouraging curiosity and exploration rather than focusing on achieving a particular shape. Through purposeful movement, breath, and awareness, Rachel creates a welcoming space for students to experience the practice within their own bodies.
Her hope is that students leave feeling more grounded, more connected, and more at home within themselves.
